Ryder asked:
I own about a dozen keyword rich domains that I’d like to start incubating for future development while hopefully also earning a little revenue from AdSense banners during the process. I have some graphic design and writing skills, so coming up with the content I need won’t be too much of a problem for me.
The problem is that when it comes to web authoring, I’m a complete novice. I’ve looked at WorpPress, Joomla, FrontPage and Dreamweaver, but they all seem to require a pretty significant learning curve.
So, what’s the quickest and easiest way for a novice like me to publish a quick, attractive, SEO/AdSense friendly, mini-site?

I recently did this with blogger.
I set up blogger to publish a “classic” template via ftp to my web server.
My site feed (atom.xml) , and site maps live on my web server, the adsence add show up within the blogger coding.
I really like the publishing solution that I figured out, but there are alot of ways to do this, I chose my method because I think that it would be more scalable and I would have more control over the way my site works.
Joomla is actually quite easy to learn, many of my customers have no problem after about a week. I usually ad the WYSIWYG editor onto their backend which really helps them out.
