i would get photoshop and flash also flash is a little different… It uses action scripts and it is a movie inside of a movie. go to

Fuck– I repeat, FUCK flash.
It’s heavy on bandwidth, it’s not opaque to any automated services you want to spring up around it, and all but the very most advanced flash techniques serve only to annoy the end user.
Think about it, do you enjoy waiting 30 seconds for a stupid little intro movie to load?
No. No you don’t.
The only reason to learn flash is to impress clients who know nothing about interface design or user experience optimization. And for simple-minded folks like that, you might just as well install wordpress on their server, photoshop a pretty banner in embossed Giddyup font, bill them for three hours, and call it good.
Configure a no-frills apache/php/mysql webserver for yourself. Learn about include() statements and mySQL queries. Do some incredible things with CSS. Learn some nifty prefab Javascript packages like mooTools and jQuery.
Flash can be pretty, but unless you want to make animated cartoons a-la Homestar Runner, you’re wasting your bloody time.
